He turned up 3 hours late on his first visit to repair our gas central heating boiler in the recent cold snap. (very cold) He said he needed to order a new part and disappeared, 3 days later we rang him to find out why we hadn’t heard back, only to be told he still hadn’t ordered the part! It was now going to be the following week, so we had no heating and hot water for the past 4 days and at least the next 3, and it was snowing outside. Four days later and he promises to be here by 11am, 2pm we are ringing to find out where he is, 4 o’clock and he chickens out and sends another guy, who incidently does not work for Cheales.He discovers that the wrong part has been ordered, it’s not the circuit board but the fan! So off he goes, he is back at 8 am the next morning with the correct part and by mid-morning the boiler is up and running!

They went to my elderly mothers to repair a tap and re-fix a sink to the wall. They turned up 3 days late, broke the tap and stuck a bit of filler on the sink which of course didnt do the job! £130 for nothing! Do not use them!

I employed this company to fix a leaking radiator. This they did, but almost immediately afterwards my boiler started to make some strange, loud noises. I called the company on many occasions, but they always failed to call me back, and on two occasions failed to turn up for scheduled appointments. A total shambles; I will never use them again.

Very friendly on the phone so called them out to fix our boiler. Boiler was working again by the time they came out and they couldn't find a fault during the 20 mins he was with us. Promised to phone the manufacturer which he did but they said there was no general fault .That 20 mins and phone call cost £70 and the boiler still keeps playing up.

He turned up on time (8am) went off twice in his van to get parts without complaint, was friendly and courteous and knew what he was doing.Cleaned up after himself. Came across as honest and trustworthy.
