Quoted job to be complete in 4 days, work began on 12/12/2005 - work still not finished., now not answering our letters or phone calls. Work very poor standard, half jobs, cutting corners etc. Would definitely not recommend this company/man.

Very unreliable. Never answers his phone, never calls back and is never on time. After the plumbing and central heating work had finished, a week later, there were a few snags and leaks. I was stupid enough to have paid him after he had finished. He was never to be found again. Avoid him at all costs. He charges too much too and wastes time.

Employed to refurbish ensuite bathroom. Distroyed £300 vanity worktop paid for by me. Laid incorrect base for tile flooring, nailing down instead of using screws thereby damaging sitting room ceiling below. Another £300 damage. Several other mistakes. I Have paid £1100 so far, but Mr. Jeanes now refusing to complete the work unless I pay another £1100 up front which I have refused to do. He has now walked away leaving me with an unfinished bathroom and over £600 worth of damage

I have had a problem with a dripping toilet and called Thomas plumbers. He came round for 5 minutes changed the ballcock and left, taking with him £50 for the service. This was obviously not the solution to the problem as a couple of weeks later the toilet started dripping again. I have phoned and explained the problem to Mr Thomas but the only reply I got was "find some one else to sort it out" and then he hung up on me. I tried phoning back and again he hung up on me.

The quality of installation was good, but they were really unreliable. Took £500 deposit and then disappeared for 3 days, with no mobile contact. Took 5 weeks to finish what was a 5 day job and kept disappearing and not answering our calls or telling us when they'd be coming back. Joe (head guy) still has our keys and won't come back to collect remaining rubbish he has left here. I also had to pay someone to take rubbish and the bath away, because he left it in our hallway for weeks and kept promising to take it away and wouldn't.

Kevin turned up for day 1, was very pleasant, did a nice job on the kitchen sink and fitting gas oven. Then we agreed what day he would come back to fit a toilet and basin. Even though he was aware I had taken a day off work to be there, he didn't turn up, didn't answer his phone and we've never heard from him since.

Did a fair job, but I never felt that happy with them, just little things which make all the difference, such as cleaning up after themselves and treating me as though I didn’t know what I was talking about. I may be female but I know when a bath fits or a tap drips!

Arranged in advance to replace leaking cistern valve unit. Brought wrong part twice, ruined bathroom carpet, fitted new unit so badly that leaks recurred. Would not respond to repeated calls to return and sort out the problem.

Arrived to fit a new Thermostat tom Boiler, broke a feeder pipe water all over the place, we then required a new Boiler, which he fitted (it was new), used old fittings left new ones in the box the boiler came in, made a great mess in the Bathroom which we had to clear up. We will never use them again.

Called to quote on changing my bathroom. Arrived promptly then quoted me, which I accepted. He ripped out bathroom, installed new bathroom suite, and then tidied up after himself. very polite,efficent and work was of high standard, will be using him to install my boiler in the summer!
